The least corrupt people in public service are politicians. You see those directors, MD’s and secretaries of federal or state institutions, most of them are extremely corrupt and wicked. They are like deities. They have spent over 25 years there and understands the system so well. They teach corrupt politicians how to steal successfully.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

One of the stupidest thing I see online is these interprofessional rivalry I see online. As a doctor, I'm barely making $300 a month, few of my consultants are pushing 1k. A popular medical doctor just paid by X in two weeks what I don't earn in 2 months. But guess what? We are kings compared to what our allied healthcare workers earn, especially in the private sectors. Many nurses still earn below 100k, pharmacist below 200k and let's not even talk about med labs and radiographers. The pay of healthcare workers in this country is a meme at this point. But guess what again? Instead of coming together and fighting our slave masters, we'd rather banter ourselves into oblivion. I hope we get it right soon.

The problem with Nigeria is largely its people. Someone was killed!!! Do you understand how terrible it is to take another person’s life? The Bible says the greatest love is to lay down one’s life, yet you’re out here taking a life over perceived sexuality, and even justifying it. That is deeply disturbing.

You watch someone murder a man because they are gay. You applaud it. He deserves it. Why im sef dey do gay? The next day, that person, who has developed an appetite for blood, kills your family member. You start wailing. Did you not let a murderer loose?

My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family, He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back , When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back, His elder brother was kidnapped, ransom was demanded , Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife, But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve, At the same time, hubby lost everything to them, and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now 🙏🙏🙏

World Athletics is in a difficult spot. If they allow Turkey to buy an entire Olympic team, the concept of national representation dies. But by blocking these moves without addressing the systemic neglect in federations like the JAAA & AFN, they essentially tell athletes: "You must be loyal to a system that isn't loyal to you

Day 19 of standing for Ochanya Ogbanje. Another sunrise, and the same silence from those who should be protecting our children. Ochanya was just 13… a little girl who left home trusting family to keep her safe and send her to school. Instead, she endured years of pain that no child should ever know, until VVF took her from us in 2018. Her uncle was acquitted. Her cousin Victor Ogbuja has been running from justice for over seven long years — and still, no fresh wanted notice, no real manhunt, no honest update from the authorities. @benuestategovt @BenuePoliceNG @PoliceNG @benuestategov… please, we are begging you to see her. To act. To every single person who has liked, reposted, tagged, prayed, or simply refused to scroll past these posts… thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love is the only reason Ochanya’s name is still breathing. But I know you feel it too — love alone is not enough. We need justice that moves. Today I ask again, with everything in me: • A clear public statement from the police on Victor’s manhunt • His face posted nationwide as WANTED • Real safeguards so no other girl child is ever failed like this This is no longer just about one beautiful soul. It’s about every daughter, every sister, every mother who deserves to believe that justice in Nigeria can still rise. I will keep showing up. I will keep speaking her name. I will not grow tired, because Ochanya never had the chance to grow up. Sweet girl, your pain is remembered. Your light is still guiding us. Rest softly… justice is coming. We won’t let you down. 💔🙏 #JusticeForOchanya #JusticeForTheGirlChild #EndChildAbuse #ProtectNigerianGirls

Day 18 of standing for Ochanya Ogbanje. My heart feels heavy today. Thinking about a little girl who smiled through unimaginable suffering just so she could go to school. Her story isn’t just tragic, it’s a mirror showing how our system fails the most vulnerable. To everyone reading this: thank you for the likes, reposts, and tags. Your support keeps her name alive. But we need more than online noise now. We need action. Benue Police, please respond. Release an official update. Hunt down the fugitive. Give Ochanya’s family and every mother in Nigeria a reason to believe justice still exists. We are many. Our voices together are loud. Let’s not stop until something changes. Ochanya, we remember you. We fight for you. Sleep well, beautiful soul. @benuestategovt @BenuePoliceNG @PoliceNG @benuestategov #JusticeForOchanya
