Abdiaziz Laftagareen, laid the foundation stone for a new Teacher Training Center in Baidoa. The center will provide modern facilities for training and upskilling teachers, contributing to improved learning outcomes across the state.

Türkiye’s Minister of Energy on the Oruç Reis mission to Somalia: “Since October 25, 2024, our seismic research vessel Oruç Reis has been operating in Somali waters and has successfully completed its mission after 234 days at sea. During the operation, conducted across three blocks, the vessel collected 3D seismic data covering a total area of 4,464 square kilometers. Oruç Reis is scheduled to depart from Mogadishu Port on June 15, 2025, and return to Türkiye. The data gathered during this mission will serve as a key reference in evaluating Somalia’s maritime jurisdiction areas in the coming period.”
