At the worst possible time as farmers look to plant their crops, diesel prices have soared in ag states- it'll show up at your grocery store. Big weekly jumps: MI +75c/gal IN +60c/gal CO +53c/gal OH +52c/gal IL +42c/gal WI +38c/gal SD +31c/gal IA +30c/gal MT +30c/gal MO +29c/gal

As policymakers at the federal level continue to consider expanding access to E15, we led a letter signed by over 30 state biofuel & ag organizations urging Congress to include a bipartisan amendment allowing year-round E15 in the House Farm Bill bit.ly/4cF1WcZ

It’s not "Food vs. Fuel." It’s "Food AND Fuel." MN ethanol doesn't just produce clean energy. In 2025, MN ethanol plants produced 4 M tons of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) - a high-protein animal feed - enough to feed 1.8 M cattle! bit.ly/4vVNll4

I am proud to lead a group of my colleagues in introducing an amendment to the 2026 Farm Bill to finally make permanent, year-round E15 a reality across the nation! For too long, outdated regulations have blocked access to lower-cost, American-grown fuel. This common-sense fix will: ✅ Lower prices at the pump for hardworking families. ✅ Provide certainty for our corn growers and rural economies. ✅ Reduce American reliance on foreign oil. Farmers in Western Minnesota and across the country are ready to power America. It’s time to get this across the finish line and into the Farm Bill! biomassmagazine.com/articles/lawma…

We can take criticism but at least present our perspective in a fair and honest way.

The farm economy is in a tough spot. Tariffs, fertilizer & diesel costs, low prices, unpredictable weather, supply chain disruptions, etc. Low corn prices aren't trivial. Market demand isn't trivial.

Last week, we joined @GrowthEnergy in meetings with @RepFinstad and @RepFischbach to speak about the need for permanent yr-round access for E15, nationwide. We thank them both for their efforts in advocating for MN's biofuel industry & providing consumers with relief at the pump!

In the first two months of 2026, Minnesotans saved an average 19 cents per gallon by choosing Unleaded 88 over regular 87 octane fuel, totaling $4.1 million in savings at the pump! bit.ly/4sCAJfI
