Applying Covid19 protocols, the first forum will be 2 days of 25 participants and the second forum will have the same number of participants.

A four days Decentralization Forum attended by 25 participants from Warsheikh council permanent committee, local government staff, district officers of the line Ministries and facilitated by technical team from @MoIFARSomalia and @MoILG_HSH is going on in Warsheikh.

We held a Local Government Gender Policy validation workshop in Jowhar today. It was attended by the Minister of Women, the Mayor of Jowhar, regional youth associations in middle Shabelle and regional women's associations, community elders and religious group.

This is part of a series of meetings that the minister is having with the representatives of the international community to let them understand and support the plans and priorities of the ministry and Hirshabelle state in general.

The Minister of Interior and Local Government of Hirshabelle State, H.E. @XaaajiCaadle met with @EU_in_Somalia officials at the EU Embassy in Mogadishu. The meeting has focused on important issues on security, stabilization and the upcoming elections in Hirshabelle.

The Minister thanked the Ambassador for the commitment of his government to support the people of Somali, and asked them to stand by Hirshabelle in particular as it is the youngest and most vulnerable Federal Member State in Somalia.
