The Israeli government is actively recruiting through paid and targeted @Facebook and @Instagram (@Meta) advertisements inside Yemen. The ads appear to come from “Unit 504,” identified in Hebrew as a branch of Israeli military intelligence focused on human intelligence recruitment. The campaign uses Arabic-language visuals showing a hooded figure in front of computer screens and includes messages designed to appeal to disaffected Yemenis. The texts read:
“Have you grown tired of watching Yemen collapse? Have you grown tired of living without work, without security, without a future? If you are ready to do what it takes, Unit 504 will give you a path where your skills have value and your actions make a difference. Your future is in your hands. This opportunity will not come again.”
Another version says: “Your actions behind the scenes can change the future of Yemen. If you are brave, responsible, and intelligent, Unit 504 wants you. Join us now.”
A third reads: “For a long time Yemen has lived through crisis after crisis, but real change begins with those who refuse to surrender. Unit 504 gives you the tools, the ability, and the opportunity to build a different tomorrow for yourself and for your country.”
The imagery and language emphasize empowerment, purpose, and national renewal, while encouraging people to register through the provided link. The consistent branding of “Unit 504” suggests a coordinated intelligence outreach targeting Yemeni audiences online.

A superb, must-watch, long-form interview of @netanyahu by the @triggerpod crew.
Other than @realDonaldTrump, I have not seen another world leader do an unscripted long-form podcast.
Whatever your preconceived notions of Netanyahu, hear from him in his own words rather than rely on the media to interpret him for you.

@paulg @Feder240516 People in tech are obsessed with the truth that they stop feeling. This is akin to how most software engineers want to change the world but are not capable to build social relationships

@Feder240516 The median person in tech isn't dismissive per se, just afraid to speak publicly about it.

@shaunmmaguire You are scared of the truth! You don’t understand the post-truth world! You are stuck with your lies. You want to be right all the time because you think you are more resourceful and smarter but you are not. Reflect on this

I post a clip about soccer => "F**king Jew, Gaza no longer has soccer fields."
I post a clip about my meal => "F**king Jew, Gaza has no food."
I post a clip about a book that I'm reading => "F**king Jew, people in Gaza don't have the luxury to read."
I post a clip about my family => "F**king Jew, people in Gaza don't have the luxury to be with their families."
While I have only exhibited sorrow about the loss of any innocent life (on either sides of the conflict), I'm apparently complicit in the death of Gazans by virtue of living my life. This is what genocidal hatred looks like.

@karenforsterx @nasdaily This sounds more like paranoia (border line racist) than actually knowing anything about Islam Karen. What are you really trying to say?

The most mysterious group of people.
The Druze. I grew up around them. They were family friends. As a kid, I didn't fully understand what they believed in and who they were. And they wouldn't share.
But I understood one thing: they were the most peaceful group of humans I met. Friendly. Positive. Enterprising.
We may have religious differences. But not once did that come in the way. Live, let live, and let's hang.
The Middle East will never thrive if it doesn't allow for difference of opinion and religion.
They say: "2 jews, 3 opinions".
But sadly, we are seeing a Middle East with 200 million people, 1 opinion, and 1 religion. This is not the way.
