Iran has all of the leverage and time here. It seems to me that Trumps only option is a kinetic one that he clearly doesn’t want to use again. He should chill out and stop posting prematurely until he knows he has a deal. He looks like an amateur right now.

It’s incredible that we still apply our Western mindset to this situation. The White House should realize by now that these radicals in Tehran aren’t going to surrender their uranium. And no amount of kinetic pounding is going to change their minds. If we really want it, the only option is to go in and take it. I don’t see that as a good option either.

That’s because Trump is recently realizing that he has backed himself into a corner. There is likely no amount of kinetic military action that will result in Iran giving up its enriched uranium. Bibi wants Trump to continue kinetic action, but Trump knows it isn't working and will be viewed very poorly if he continues.

Axios reports that President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu held a tense phone call last night and disagreed over the path forward on Iran. Israel’s ambassador in Washington reportedly told members of Congress that Netanyahu came away from the conversation concerned.

So let me get this straight. Iran’s plan is to build a nuclear bomb. Then figure out how to launch it 6,000 miles across the ocean in an attempt to blow up a US city.
