@Bullskickass At this point, I'm cool with either. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. No prospect has come out "polished" and it's up to our player development to help them out

I keep seeing people saying Boozer doesn’t play defense and Wilson doesn’t shoot well. All the clips I see are them doing this fine. I think both are going to be amazing in the NBA.

Not a single good player named in this tweet. #Bears fans were in the trenches in the Eberflus era fr

It wouldn’t shock me if the #Bears cut their losses with Nate Davis like they did with Chase Claypool last year. It’s clear it’s not working. No need to hope things magically get better. Chicago has Ryan Bates & Larry Borom returning soon and needs to clear roster space, too.

Republicans control all 3 branches of government and not only have they not passed a single bill that ACTUALLY benefits anyone but billionaires, but they have made everything in the country and across the globe significantly worse. Vote them all out.

2013-14 Joakim Noah will always be one of my favorite individual seasons of all-time. It was the definition of a dragging a team to relevance through pure intensity and willpower. After DRose went down with a knee injury 10 games into the season, most expected the Bulls to fall apart. Instead, Noah turned in one of the most unique center seasons of the modern era. On top of the stat line, he won the DPOY award, made All-NBA First Team, All-Defensive First Team, and finished 4th in MVP voting. Defensively, he was the Bulls entire system. Tom Thibodeau built the defense around Noah’s communication, rotations, hedging, rim protection, and effort. He was so smart on this end of the floor. Offensively, he evolved into a “point center.” The Bulls had almost no shot creation, so Noah started initiating offense from the elbow and top of the key. He was throwing backdoor passes, dribble handoffs, transition hit-aheads, and operating like a secondary point guard. More than all of that, though, was the effort he displayed every night. That’s why Bulls fans will always love Joakim. This was the ultimate culture season.

2025 BEARS OFFENSE Plays 🔸 11 Personnel: 569 (51.6%) 🔸 12 Personnel: 360 (32.6%) 🔸 13 Personnel: 94 (8.5%) EPA/Play 🔸 11 Personnel: +0.05 🔸 12 Personnel: +0.08 🔸 13 Personnel: +0.32 😳 In the 2nd half of the season, 12 + 13 personnel accounted for 50% of the plays. So Ben kept ratcheting them up all season ➡️ BEN JOHNSON (says to Poles, probably) ‘Let’s select the best blocking TE in the draft for TE3, Sam Roush. He can catch passes too. We’ll have the best TE room in the NFL. That’s a competitive advantage allowing us to lean even more into 12 & 13 personnel in 2026 to drive greater efficiency & break open more explosives. Especially since Loveland & Kmet will be in Y2 of this offense and Roush will be a big upgrade over Smythe, who was ranked 132 of 143 TEs, a very poor run blocker, and Caleb didn’t trust him enough to throw to him. Plus, it also ensures we don’t have to dial back our playbook by half if Loveland or Kmet misses a game, like last year.’ ➡️ SOME BEARS FANS ‘I can’t believe we drafted a (expletive) TE3!’ followed by ‘Let’s trade away Kmet’ ➡️ ME *deep sigh* (cue Sylvester head slam into the pole lol) ➡️ Getting the most out of the infinitely high-ceiling Loveland doesn’t happen if he’s the only good TE in the room. Having the best TE2 & TE3 will in a Ben Johnson offense. Let’s trust that Ben — a Top 5 play caller who also was a TE coach along the way — knows exactly what he’s doing here. ➡️ And that high EPA/play in 13 personnel was *with* Smythe. Imagine how high it could go with the Roush upgrade. Most of the high EPA in 13 personnel was generated off of passing plays last season. More misdirection & bigger holes for Swift, Monangai and Zavion getting carries in 13 personnel could be dangerous this year too. Plus on short yardage must-haves on 4th downs or goal-to-go, better talent at all 3 TE positions to run 13 personnel could lead to better conversion rates & more TDs. ➡️ Ben used 12 & 13 personnel among the Top 3 highest rates last season. Who used them most? McVay. Rams also had the #1 offense.
