To test weather your app still worth to build
1 : go to sensortower.com
2 : search your niche app catagory
3 : see download and revenue of last month
If it crosses 50k - 100k download and 100k min mrr so it is still worth by adding existing features with your own
English

@pcshipp This is not a point of leaving, leaving means quitting your job , indie app development is like a hobby if you treat like a job you gets bored, you need to understand market well understand user needs and build app around that
English

I just simply add hard paywall with monthly and yearly+7 days free trial so user gets enough time to decide
pc@pcshipp
Hey devs, which paywall will hit $10K MRR quickly? - Hard paywall - 7-day free trial - 3-day free trial - Free + paid (freemium) - Soft paywall
English

@BrianMRey Yes 😃 that's the best moments when you see this in astro
English

@indiemark_ To get a review is the best time when user got that aha moment
Weather its a streaks complete
Habits improvement, completed a challenge its totally based on your app
Hook user for a review after their best moments in app
You will get best results

Searched my app idea keywords on Google Trends today.
The demand is still there. The problem still exists.
Looks like it's still worth building. 🚀

@LinoLeighton if some one is building small apps that generate over 1k so multiplying it with 100 still worth it
i dont agree with this approach but if you are goo at multitasking it is worth to go with this approach
but honestly i buld over 5-10 app and work on marketing aggresively
English

This makes no sense.
Why not just stick with 1–2 apps, market them aggressively, and go all in on distribution instead of building 100 AI slop apps with zero distribution?
I’m genuinely confused how your supposed to make this work ngl.
Ahmed Gagan@ahmedgagan11
I'm building 100 apps. 3 done. 97 to go. Not 100 perfect apps. Not 100 winners. Just 100 shipped. Most will flop and that's the whole point, because every flop teaches me something the next one gets to use. Most devs spend a year polishing one app that dies anyway. I'd rather ship 100 and let the market tell me which one's worth betting on. Following my own advice: speed is the only edge an indie has.

Today some one ask me why you post on x
what if your idea / app would be cloned by some one on x
my honest answer is
i dont care
i think ideas come in creative mind not in text form
if someone copies steal idea then adding that taste is in our hand
