A great morning for the 2nd Annual Citizen Walk to bring awareness that celebrates the disability movement. REDI believes in a community where everyone belongs. In the City of Brooks, we also believe in that. @CityofBrooks

A major story for the @CityofBrooks @CountyofNewell with the $80 million expansion at JBS Canada. Part of the expansion includes making the hamburger paddies for all Wendy’s in western Canada. On hand JBS officials, along with Premier Smith & Ag Minister Sigurdson.

The fun of Rodeo Week is the pancake breakfasts. This morning it was hosted by BCIS. Pancakes and sausage taste special this week.

A 25 year old Time Capsule was opened at City of Brooks. Many interesting items and articles. Some things are so different, some issues still the same. Former Mayor Bob Breakell on hand to help open it up. @CityofBrooks @Brooks_Region

As Mayor of Brooks we say congratulations to the @BrooksBandits for winning their 3rd straight Centennial Cup beating Battleford 4-0 in the championship game. The Bandits have been great ambassadors for the @cityofbrooks and such a positive national story for our community.
