World Transplant Games 2025 was held in Germany. It showcases that post transplant patients have normal quality of life. This yr Team India had 57 participants they won 63 MEDALS.1200 transplants patients participated from 52 countries. Amazing performance. Congrats @ORGANINDIA1
At #WTC2025 - 5000 participants from 72 countries. It is a big meeting-with over 15 parallel sessions excellent exhibition. But mostly North American participants. WTC to b truly international & inclusive should have had other big societies like ESOT, MESOT, ISOT too joining in
We have come so far in these last 70 yrs in Solid Organ Transplants since the first successful living kidney tx by Dr Murray. #WTC2025 paid special tribute. And this in many ways reflects how SOT transformed medical advancements since that 1st transplant.
