Been a Coinbase maxi, and here’s my 8-year journey showing why nothing else comes close:
Today most of my financial transactions are done within @coinbase ecosystem.
Since forever, Coinbase is the only platform where I feel safe to leave my crypto on the exchange.
Since 8 years ago, Coinbase was the only platform I buy/sell crypto from.
Since 6 years ago, Coinbase was the only on and off ramp I use to get onto @ethereum mainnet for defi and trading erc20 altcoin not listed on CEX.
Since 4 years ago, I store most of my $USDC on coinbase so I don’t have to worry about depositing into short term treasury.
Since 2 years ago, Coinbase incubated base, and most of my onchain activity since then was on base.
Since 1 year ago, Coinbase launched @Morpho vault. This is when I moved my $USDC from wallet to coinbase so that can use onchain lending and borrowing within coinbase app.
Since last year, Coinbase derivatives became my only perp platforms to trade and hedge against market volatility.
Since 6 months ago, all my daily living expenses are now on Coinbase Amex card earning 4% on $BTC reward while my free cash is getting the best yield available and now at 3.5% just for parking your cash there.
Since last month, I have been slowly moving my stocks from robinhood/fidelity to @coinbase where I have now 200k stock position on Coinbase and growing significantly on each red day like today. I have also participated on prediction market and find it sometimes even more reward than trading altcoins. Knowledge pays!
Really proud of what the team build and continue to thrive and iterate!

Earlier this month I got the very best news; the Cancer is no longer detectable and my body had a complete metabolic response to Chemotherapy. There are no words to sufficiently capture the gratitude I feel to have received this result after a Stage IV diagnosis in June 2025. What a relief for my family and I, especially for my wife, 2yo daughter, father and brothers. I frankly don't know how I would have coped if the treatment hadn't worked. Also superstitious posting about it, could come back, but perhaps some things are worth sharing.
Having to face your own mortality is not easy. I'll never forget the fear when the nurse first broke the news that they had found advanced cancer in multiple places. I could hear my heart beat faster, almost bursting out of my chest as she spoke the words. I had just gone in for a stomach ache, now I was being told that the game was almost over.
All I can say is that the people around you when life is toughest is all that matters. You learn who really cares about you. Chemo was awful and I thank God every day for my incredible fortune and for my community who wrapped their arms around me when the night was darkest. If it happens again, I know they'll be by my side.
Special gratitude goes to my team and leaders at Coinbase who had my back from Day 1 of the diagnosis. My work holds an incredibly important place in my life and to have had their unwavering support through the journey helped me come out on the other side. Thank you @brian_armstrong @maxbranzburg @scottshapiro @emiliemc Alesia, Shannon and to my entire team.

Here’s what happened in November @Coinbase: • Introduced ETH-backed loans in the U.S. (ex-NY), allowing users to borrow USDC against their Ethereum while retaining ownership. • Acquired @VECTORDOTFUN, an onchain trading platform built on @Solana, to strengthen Coinbase’s support for one of crypto’s most active ecosystems. • Reincorporated in Texas to align with a regulatory environment that supports innovation and long-term growth. • Hosted Coinbase One Member’s Week, giving members a week full of special rewards, drops, and exclusive discounts. • @base enabled institutional transfers of J.P.
