I do not celebrate or feel pride in our having to ban @realDonaldTrump from Twitter, or how we got here. After a clear warning we’d take this action, we made a decision with the best information we had based on threats to physical safety both on and off Twitter. Was this correct?

@nimtimtim The problem is we spend way more hours / days on a task (whatever work stage it is) than we bill for, so this is a structural problem with most practices, unless they are brutally commercial. A return to some kind of agreed fee scales for chartered practices might be a start.

Incase anyone is thinking about starting an architecture practice; my accountants just informed me I earned £21k in 2019/20. For context I started what is sometimes regarded as a reasonably successful practice 6 years ago and I’m 39 years old.
