Same here. I presented full and obvious facts of fraud to my local detective. He said this is the most thorough presentation of a case he has seen. Then he completely drops the ball. A month later says there isn’t probable cause. Tells me to pursue it as a civil matter. Looks like white collar crime under $10,000 gets free pass from law enforcement.

Last fall, as my 86-year-old father-in-law lay dying of cancer at his home in Lakeland, Florida, the pool guy told my wife—who was tending to her dad—that he was owed $2,000 for past services. He claimed that he’d left my father-in-law’s check “out in the rain” and it had been ruined. Although distraught over her father’s situation, my wife is a sensible person and asked to see the “ruined” check before writing a new one. Weeks pass, and the pool guy starts to get pretty aggressive about demanding payment, before he finally produces the “ruined” check on which he also claims to have spilled ink (!)—and shows her many other similarly “ruined” checks. My wife logs into her father’s bank account and sees that the check—in perfect condition—had been cashed by the pool guy months earlier. So he’s obviously trying to take advantage of her vulnerable situation to scam her. We were outraged and concerned that he’d pull this stunt on others, so we immediately contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Department. We were assigned a Detective to whom we presented the evidence: emails demanding payment, the copy of the bogus “ruined” check, and the bank’s copy of the intact check that was cashed. Alas, they’ve now ghosted us since we last reached out 3 months ago asking for an update. And that brings me to my point: I don’t know what’s happened in our country, but our law enforcement agencies and prosecutors seem more interested in doing their paperwork than in actually enforcing the law. I hope we can change this before people stop bothering even to bring wrongdoing to the authorities’ attention, as has happened in many other countries. The rule of law requires enforcement of the law!

You need to report this firm to Florida’s DBPR. Florida regulates the pool trade like any other profession. I looked them up. They have an active license currently. You can almost feel the panic spreading. Trump has created a sinkhole that he can't get out of. The best solution is probably for Trump to cut his losses, swallow his pride and do a deal with the new Ayatollah. Guarantee that neither Israel or the US will attack Iran ever again and relieve some of the sanctions on Iran. It would be an enormous humiliation, but it's better than triggering a global recession over vanity.

@MrGlobal2025 I have been interested in this exact topic.. googling around it appears that about 80% or so of USA refineries are geared for heavy crude while the other 20% can do light crude. Most of the USA oil is light crude. That is why so much is exported.

People think the largest oil producer in the world can’t refine any of its own oil. Thats how dumb we are.

We trade reality after US markets close until Europe comes to trade... I used to think that Elon Musk was a genius, keeping his #Tesla at 300 PE for 18 years only with dreams and no substance but new dreams. This last 12 days with #IranWar taught me that it was not Elon. It is not Jensen and his circular accounting that makes #Nvidia worth more than any country outside US and Cnina. It is a centralized operation that utilizes not only some magic money computers but also banks, media and mass psychology. Did you see any prostitute investigating "magic money computers" after Elon mentioned it? He also said #Trump is in #Epstein files which turned true. There is no journalist curious about magic money computers. Market dipped 1% on the first day and JPMorgan declared it as buying opportunity. Same $JPM decided to stop lending to private credit yesterday. Margin debt reached new records during the biggest disruption in oil in history. Last few years, they brought new leverage to retail like #0DTE to use them even more effectively. While retail goes full in to support the market, they used their 401k to stuff Private Equity and Private Credit by Presidential Executive Order. Many people like me warned against it right when that executive order came. Are we geniuses? No... we know the crooks. We know that private sells to retail only if it is going down and no one left to sell. Last few days, they all started to stop redemptions. 401ks??? These are not seperate cases of fraud. They are all coordinated and looks like most of its masters were frequent visitors of Epstein Island. One of the key players had been Apollo... all executive managers on the Epstein files... President, his secretaries... all on files. But this is deeper than that and what they risk is the currency. This had been John Law on stereoids since Feb 2009. I used to think that USD is still a better bet vs other currencies... fiat vs fiat... I don't think like that after last 12 days. No other fiat is utilized like USD to goose and manipulate markets to this degree.

The FBI has warned police departments in California that Iran wants to retaliate for American attacks by launching offensive drones against the West Coast, so there’s that aspect. Considering how easily accessible and inexpensive parts to build drones are, it is worth learning the warning signs of danger for life in wartime if you’re in CA. In the LA vicinity, especially Beverly Hills, there is a large segment of population of from Persia and other Middle Eastern countries.

Is there no place to simply get news on Iran, Israel, the Gulf, US forces and the Middle East? Everyone is cheerleading for something or the other. I want to know what is actually happeing to first approximation. How are you accomplishing this if at all? Thx in advance.
