Our paper was offered the cover of The EMBO Journal. 😀 We discovered that activation of cGAS-STING causes aging in response to very short telomeres. Zebrafish deficient in tert and sting, reverse premature death, reduced fertility, frailty and cancer.

I am taking the decision today not to attend this year’s @SfNtweets meeting in protest at the USA’s treatment of the rest of the world (except Russia!) and especially Ukraine. The USA cannot succeed alone in science, economics, war or anything else and needs to learn this fast.
