Our support of NA CS isn't just talk.
From the NA Revival Series to our latest roster we're doing our best to walk the walk.
All I ask is that you continue to support both.
We sincerely appreciate it. 🤝

**WARNING LONG RANT AHEAD**
The most troubling part of this is that we look at this quote and accept that it's good to let NA die. The efforts being made to help NA have been negligible to non-existent especially from a global power-house like Liquid who abandoned NA just last year for an EU roster. The efforts made from ESL & other tournament organizers towards the region have also been spotty and inconsistent.
If it weren't for people like @EliGE @JasonBWLake @fl0m @slovecs @SyykoNT @mfmereu @valens @daps @muenstergg @MnmzzzCS @nounsesports
@Wildcard_GG this region would be a complete ghost town. It's because of these people that believe in North America as a region that we're still barely surviving. Even if I personally haven't agreed with certain efforts they have made at least they have shown a passion for the scene and that earns massive respect from me.
I've been as vocal as anyone about the issues that plague our scene. But, this mindset that it has been consistently spiraling downwards is complete shit. Right now NA is as competitive as it has been since ESL stripped a regional pro-league away and Valorant came out. Instead of shouting for the death of the scene we should acknowledge the efforts of all the players that have stayed and continued to grind like @Partynauts_GG @bossggofficial & more that haven't got paid a dime to compete and only earn their money from winning. We definitely should not be pushing these players away to other games and continue to ruin the domestic product these players have been grinding so hard to improve.
We should be continuing to show support for the region instead of accepting its death. We need to continue to have our representatives push for more things to happen in NA so that Counterstrike doesn't become an increasingly EU only esport.
North American players, we also have to continue to improve our professionalism and get rid of the rotten eggs in our community. There are too many examples of childish and unacceptable behavior from people in our region that will continue to make us a joke. Even if you think your behavior has no impact, I know that it scares off investment and tournament organizers from coming to a region that needs them desperately. We have to continue to shape up to get the resources we desperately need and plead for.
At the end of the day, it's a partnership that creates an esports. A partnership between fans, organizers, players, sponsors / organizations that make a successful ecosystem. Right now, we are failing in so many places that of course the ecosystem is dysfunctional. It's on all of us to address these problems and improve from them.

📢UPDATE on this:
Real talk- it's been difficult landing a lead event sponsor in just a few weeks. I had a pitch meeting yesterday and have another this coming week.
The reality is the runway might be too short to pull off a LAN in late May.
We're sincerely committed to doing what we can to support and revive NA CS. I was having meetings until almost 9pm last night on this very topic.
I will have updates soon and we continue to hope the OG's of NA CS will rally behind whatever efforts we can put together in 2024/5. 🙏

Should we throw a small 'American Revival' CS event at our HQ before Dreamhack Dallas? 🤔 Simple online quali, 4 team LAN.. OG broadcasters, Summit vibe, etc. Wonder if the community would support? Promotion, co-streams, etc. Thoughts?? Where my CS OG's at?

Off Stream Update: @Mish_MashGaming just mashed their way to victory against @Moniseum and have punched their ticket to the Semi-finals!
Moniseum put up a good fight, but it was Mish Mash Gaming who came out on top. The question now is, who will they face in the Semi-finals?
