ASM #997–999 is already bringing in Damage Control / DODC, directly tying into Brand New Day.
Now ASM #1000 has a backup story called:
“Tears of the Spider-Queen.”
And Peter is fighting The Hand.
That’s interesting because Spider-Queen (Adriana Soria) has powers like mind control, telekinesis, and forced mutation.
The movie synopsis also mentions an invisible threat possessing people.
