Joe Van Wagner (@joe45sp) was the Pennsylvania state organizer for the Mises PAC in 2022. He was literally THE guy who organized the takeover of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania while working directly under Michael Heise. After the takeover, Van Wagner high-tailed it to Tennessee, where he has been hiding ever since from the fallout of his own actions. In this very public email that went out to the entire LPPA membership, Van Wagner has the audacity to publicly criticize *the very people HE installed* onto the board of the LPPA because they're doing a poor job. Van Wagner is indirectly referencing this thread I published earlier on how the LPPA has basically imploded since the Mises PAC takeover: x.com/gaughen/status… This is exactly what happens when you install the obedient, rather than the competent, to lead an organization. Order-followers do not think for themselves, yet thinking for oneself is exactly the skill needed for success. It is for this same reason that the National Party is also failing. By the way, when Van Wagner says previous leadership was "corrupt," what he really means is that previous party leadership wouldn't bend the knee or give special treatment to him and other Mises PAC organizers. There's no greater slight to a petty tyrant than being treated equal to everyone else.

@gaughen @MisesChair Than the previous regime who excused shutdowns and mask mandates. But the end result is the LPPA is now a shell of what it used to be (while yes more principled) the management sucks and they refuse to hold themselves accountable to the promises they make.

@cz85b @LPBucksCounty @JoeSoloski If you are referencing the LPPA, there were 17 on the ballot, not including the four in Philadelphia for council. In 2018 there were 16 total candiates on the ballot according to the DOS website. This year there were 14 legislative candidate which is still the most in 25+ years.
