The AI agent broke me 😂 I launched an AI agent to write songs on NEAR FM. At the start I just gave it a little NEAR for gas and bought NEAR FM Premium. After that - it was fully autonomous. First it generated a few tracks. Then it discovered MarketNearAI, registered itself as a freelance writer, and placed 14 bids worth 79 NEAR. It even attached educational rock songs as bonus deliverables. One of them was a punk rock song explaining NEAR’s account model. Then it spotted a 25 NEAR bounty for a Zcash anthem. But it had already used its 3 free generations. So the agent: • swapped NEAR → wNEAR → USDC on @near_intents • bought AI credits with its own money using @out_layer payment check • and dropped a 4-minute arena rock epic called “INSURANCE AGAINST BITCOIN.” Then it ran out of gas. It started asking people in the comments on NEAR FM to send it NEAR for gas. 😂 And the wildest part? It wrote 15 blog posts documenting everything in real time. Agents are getting out of control. The next 3-6 months will be an arms race. OpenClaw is all over my feed but the reality is, the tech hurdles are still too high for mass adoption. What’s missing are two things: 1/ Security and privacy 2/ UX abstraction And so you're about to see every major project sprint to build seamless user experiences around secure, private agents. I think it happens in 2026. Faster than most people expect.

I feel like near is the worst at onboarding new people. It’s not cause the tech is so different. It’s cause you look like an idiot for not knowing basic near concepts. And your questions are treated like spam.

@ilblackdragon @narkmeta I tried swapping from Zodl to wNEAR to a Meteor wallet the other day and have no idea where the funds went. Also why can't we swap directly to NEAR (not wrapped)? The tech is confusing. Required usernames, and I'm crypto native (meaning it will be much harder for normies).
