@Fightincowboy @TheBioticGod It's not endless, if they mad a forever monster hunter,mxt would be more understandable but at the moment we're paying yearly for releases. Not to mention that just because other games are scummy doesn't excuse scummy practices in this one

Hot take, Monster Hunter devs give us so much base content and free title update content compared to a lot of devs that I have zero issue with layered weapon MTXs. This game could be full of hunting season passes and shit but no, 99% of the content is F R E E but people still cry

@TheDevilDucker OP's words are kinda deceptive. MH has alway had little goofy moments, on the whole it's been a serious game with sprinkles of goofy. So to answer the question MH was bad/majority goofy in generations and rise

@BenVBMeister @HeavyWingsDX Personally I think that was generations, rather than lagi on the land. Lagi was great on land in 3u But even if we say lagi on land was always like GU, there is no reason why new lagi needs to fight the same. A Mh6 lagi can still be dope even if it's land only

@Flabitorv @MhFran_Lancer we've always had that aspect of the MH community. the only change is that its alot easier to talk about of dmg numbers.

@MhFran_Lancer The series' explosion in popularity has exposed it to a much wider audience. It just so happens that a section of the wider audience is very vocal about max dps, optimal builds, and speedrunning. Doesn't help that the new skill system allows you to stack damage skills like crazy.

@DeagaDH @stevoyah nah, Valstrax is really disliked by the "Monsters as pseudo-reality creatures" crowd. and i kinda get where they're coming from. Valstrax doesn't like like a creature that could be real, let alone his form being at odds with his ecological niche

soo it seems that safi is very much a threat on par with the black dragons, aparently not only did he attract the attention of alatreon but it's theorized that fatalis became active because of safi as well. looks like theres a bit more going on with safi's title as the "emperor".

@CaptainDashMatt @Actually_Tina the I-frames in the first horizon at least beg to differ. you don't need to react you just roll. someone else also mentioned that you have to be precise with the aiming, but that's only if you're tying to hit specific things, which isnt necessary because slingshot goes boom
