If Iran is so degraded, so thoroughly defeated and begging for mercy, why haven't they surrendered? Why do they still control the Strait of Hormuz? Why are American consumers suffering the cost? It's now abundantly clear that Trump's Iran War will go down as one of the greatest strategic defeats not only in American history, but in world history. @L69fs I remember watching a Minny home game on TV on a night where there was a bad winter storm in the area and there were still a bunch of fans there. Maybe they're not fanatical about the Wild but they just genuinely love the team and support them in a more reserved way?

Insane that the Minnesota Wild have been around for a quarter century in the self-proclaimed “state of hockey” and appear to have no fan culture whatsoever. No traditions, no aura, no defining traits. Have never heard a single person say “I’m a Wild fan”. There’s just nothing.

There are many examples on youtube of a crowd in one country belting out the anthem of the other country during technical difficulties. This is an unecessary, stupid video.

@darbielou1 @worldhockeyrpt I assume you mean the empty seats in Glendale, and the small number of them at Mullett. Every game at Mullett was sold out. There were physical seats in the stadium not listed for sale and were sometimes empty due to being used by teams, media, etc.

@Moradzor @worldhockeyrpt I went to a number of games at both Gila and Mullet. I felt so bad for the Coyotes players for the lack of fans in the seats.

@Utah_AM Tempe could have traded a garbage dump for a privately funded event and shopping center. Ownership wanted a break on property taxes, which I believe is standard practice for many businesses, and a portion of the sales tax generated on site.

I know we like to rag on Arizona. But their fans were not the problem. The problem was multiple cities in the Phoenix area blowing golden opportunities for an arena. I’m looking at you Scottsdale.

@worldhockeyrpt I've been in Edmonton cheering for the opposing team many times (as a Coyotes fan who you've also chirped tonight) and I've been treated very graciously by every Oilers fan I've encountered.

These guys would last 22 seconds in Edmonton before someone would cave their face in.
