@adotei___ @Xiphus1 The guy sat down and created an Arancar specifically to counter Yamamoto because he recognized him as a threat to his plans, directly in spite of having Yama under KS.
I’d say that’s at least enough to argue that Aizen thought he could lose if he didn’t prepare correctly.

Aizen would have probably died. As well as a lot of the soul reapers just from his energy output, the human world in the surrounding area would be on fire, humans may have died, weather patterns changed. That kinda heat on heart is dangerous

I think a fundamental flaw of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is the lack of "Going first" games. The actual TCG is Best-of-3, so even if you lose a coin flip, you still have a game wheree you can go first. In MD, you can go 10-20 games of coin losses, only going 2nd. They need a BO3 Mode

What matters is that Genjutsu have a weakness due to the way they function- A destabilization of chakra flow via an outside force.
And soul reapers have things that can do that.

Then by that logic, characters with an outside influence are going to break it.
If a Jinchuriki can break out of a genjutsu because their Biju acts, a soul reaper’s zanpakuto should be able to do the same.

The naruto fandom does this weird thing where they assume that any illusion based ability must/user 1. Follows their rules 2. Be very weak within their ruleset despite nothing of that caliber being shown to be possible to break out of 3. The user can't break out of genjutsu
