While much of the Arab media speaks of mass destruction in Israel and a nation paralyzed by despair, Israelis continue to do what they have always done: live.
My family in Lebanon has fully bought into the narrative. They are convinced I must be hiding underground, instructed by Israelis to conceal the “truth.”
“Why else aren’t you posting videos?” they ask.
Well, reality doesn’t follow the script and the explanation is far less dramatic: I had a cold.
Or—as you can clearly see—this is me, hiding underground, just like the rest of the Israelis.
And in apartheid Israel, Muslims and Jews never mix.
