Feels like there are basically two AFL divisions right now - the top 12, and then the bottom six of Carlton, Essendon, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Richmond and West Coast. Division 1 is currently 7-0 against Division 2 with an average margin of 66 points.

Max King had his biggest session of the year at Moorabbin today. Hitting top speed and back in contested marking drills against opponents. Saints are super cautious and are wary of being let down again but there’s some hope he could be back playing in 2-3 weeks.

Fair discussion. Mattaes’s issue is two things: injury avoidance and match fitness. He played 24 games in his first season - and only another 24 since. He’s got to get match-after-match into his body now. He’s lost confidence in his body; it’ll take a fair while to find form.

Just finished the VFL replay Wow Jayden Davey. IIRC wasn't he better than Alwyn but went later bc he was injured? Barrat has taken the next step. Needs to clean up ball use but defensively looks very close LOC solid comeback and will be in the 1s soon Eamonn good signs

Saints VFL side have some patches, but still show very little cohesion or structure. Lots of bomb and hope. Hastie probably our best, but a lot of the VFL squad still adjusting to the faster pace from where they were last year. 45-21 at the half. Jayden Davey both goals
