It’s pretty clear we need to go back to the well of draft and trading to elevate our competitiveness. Our delist pile will be large, but we need to improve our ‘bottom six’. And we need to do that quite cheaply. Time to look at what bargains are out there. Think there’s a few.

@Hepp86 @neil_saints @MadSaint A lot of Saints fans said that about 2026, and 2025... I'd be happier if we beat Sydney and lost one of the games to Port Adelaide. Instead we keep losing the same game to the same quality teams for the same reasons. And that's what frustrates me: the repeating of mistakes.

At the risk of copping flak. When does the heat come on to Ross Lyon? Another underwhelming performance on the big stage. Rinse and repeat. Happy to see some rational but intense internal scrutiny about it.

@MadSaint If you look at our recent coaching tenures: Thomas 5 years, Lyon 5 years, Watters 2 years, Richardson 6 years, Ratten 3 years, now Lyon (again) 4 years. Those are reasonable tenures. Ross can be reasonably assessed now. There is a body of work there to analyse.

Nas was literally tackled without the ball at that stoppage. The blast he gave the ump then was warranted but lucky to not be a free against.
