#tncohort I learned a lot in my teaching certification program, but the most important lesson was having a growth mindset and teaching my students to as well. As teachers we can always be working to improve our practice!

@shaunrein I just wrote an article about how well China has managed the virus. It actually got a really good response from Americans. We shouldn't keep our mouths shut. We need to find ways to share the truth about what China actually is like and counter the lies from the media.

@shaunrein China is ramping up recycling in major cities and food waste needs to be separated. It makes sense that as awareness of the issue grows (which it has where I live in Nanjing), so will ideas and campaigns to tackle it. I really respect China's efforts to solve these issues.

@shaunrein Totally agree. Living in Nanjing for 13 years I've seen it go from admiration and respect towards America to confusion and dismay at the moment. America is pissing away it's soft power and that's a damn shame. The damage being done may be irreparable.

“Defund” means that Black & Brown communities are asking for the same budget priorities that White communities have already created for themselves: schooling > police,etc.
People asked in other ways, but were always told “No, how do you pay for it?”
So they found the line item.
