Disney color had its own distinct look, and that look can be attributed to their paint that they created in-house.
Known as “cel-vinyl”, Disney would mix pigments, precipitating chalk, and a gum arabic solution to create over 5,000 different shades of color.
The paint, a water-based gouache, was known for its smooth flow, thick texture, and perfect adhesion to the acetate animation cels.
The ink and paint lab was half chemistry, half artistry, 100% magic.

While re-listening to Monday's show on #FFS I had a thought, regarding @DarkGiftComics and this clip.
It is definitely autistic, but the best kind. Anthony has an autistic 'obsession' with truth, accuracy, and exactness. It can be frustrating when it is merely a disagreement on semantics, but you know you are getting a well thought-out view. This is one of the things I find most admirable and a reason, I will always value his opinion, whether I agree with it or not, on different topics.

You know, given how rare documented cases of people being shot with .30-06 are, Adam should be correct.
However, I can name two off the top of my head: Martin Luther King and @Chuck_Ritter92.
MLK was shot at half the distance Charlie was. The round hit his jaw, then his spine, and deflected downward almost 90 degrees. No exit wound, with terminal ballistic results eerily similar to Charlie’s. He even had an open-casket funeral.
Chuck is still alive. He was shot with 7.62x47 (Russian equivalent to .30-06) during combat operations in Afghanistan. The round hit him in the spine from 25 yards away, deflected downward at almost 90 degrees. No exit wound, and being an American badass, Chuck kept fighting. His team member had a GoPro on his helmet, so it was all documented.
The Internet, unable to accept they don’t actually know shit about shit, called Chuck a liar. He shared the video, pictures of his wounds pre- and post-surgery, along with his medical reports.
Legend has it they continue to deny reality to this day.

Tribalism. It's weird, as Comicsgate, we're accused of being tribalistic from the same people that used to hate each other, but have now banded together due to the hate of one man. People that used to fight every day that have done terrible things to one another now excuse each other's bad behaviors because they hate Ethan, Jon, Shane, and myself. A guy that feverishly fought against false flagging now calls the same flaggers "buddy" because they are aligned by hate. A disingenuous group of street crew "fans" now attack anyone that has criticism about the company they love and NOT ONE of them have ever said "Meh this books not really for me."... they LOVE every single title that is released. If that's not tribalism loaded down with 4000 lbs of bullshit then I don't know what is. There's a lot of projection and harassment out there that is completely unnecessary. Too many people are bored and hating just to hate, crying just to cry, and they need to sack up and move on with life. You're no one's white knight or savior.
