BlackRock’s BUIDL fund enters institutional trading, Societe Generale issues regulated onchain bonds, and Robinhood moves toward permissionless 24/7 equities. Saudi Arabia launches a national real estate system, the UK shifts closer to T+0, and HSBC expands tokenized deposits. The shift from pilots to real financial infrastructure is becoming impossible to ignore. 1. BlackRock’s 2.5B Tokenized Fund Now Used as Collateral on Binance BlackRock’s BUIDL fund is now accepted as off exchange collateral for institutional traders on Binance, giving them flexibility to trade while assets stay with a custody partner. Societe Generale Issues First Tokenized Bond in the US Societe Generale’s crypto arm SG-FORGE has issued its first US digital bond using blockchain settlement. Robinhood Plans Permissionless Tokenized Stocks and 24/7 Trading Robinhood is rolling out a three step tokenization plan starting with nearly 800 tokenized stocks in Europe. HSBC Expands Tokenized Deposits Across US and UAE HSBC will roll out tokenized deposits to corporate clients in the US and UAE next year after processing funds in 6 regions.
