Only 29% of men recruited to the INTERVAL-GAP4 trial were meeting aerobic physical activity guidelines at baseline. Higher MVPA was associated with better aerobic capacity and walking performance but not maximal strength in men with metastatic prostate cancer on ADT. This is a sub-study of our @MovemberAUS funded International trial (#INTERVALGAP4) of targeted exercise for men with metastatic prostate cancer. After studying sports science at the University of Leipzig he was able to gain first hand practical experience while working with high level cross country skiers in Norway, where he also completed his PhD.

We welcome Jacob Walther as a member of the Sports Medicine and Sports Therapy professorship. Jacob's expertise is in the field of high level endurance sports with a particular focus on cross-country skiing.
