Right, i want an opening ceremony. It won't beat London 2012 which was amazing, but I'm in the mood for something good. I've opened my cremant which I got in France last week and I've added some creme de myrtilles. I've got crisps while I think about dinner... Allons-y!

@Morwanneg I mean, to be fair, I cry at everything these days, but when they do that montage and the commentary of how hard they've worked and how they were 4 and wanted to try the sport, and oh look, there's their mum... I'm in floods.

I'm watching the 3 hour iplayer thing about GB Olympic medals and we're only on 1964 and already I'm crying at Anne Packer winning gold. I'm going to be a mess over the next couple of weeks.
