I don’t know why the world is freaking out. This is our natural state. The one we’ve been in for thousands of years. Chaos and pain is the rule of human existence. Peace is the rarest of exceptions. It’s just not rare to you, because you’ve been sheltered. All of us have.

That is kinda what drew me to a similar conclusion. I remember being exhausted after chilling with certain people, it took me a very long time to put two and two togeather, but eventually that is the conclusion I came to. They mentally drain you, tax your good will or just have you on a constant state of acting or projecting.

Maybe you didn’t change, maybe you just got tired of performing.

Jade recently got dogpilled at least twice from what I've seen, by people who are against any and all video game censorship. She commented about Fatal Frame II remake censorship, and commented about Overwatch's Nier Automata crossover 2B costume being toned down. Both these events triggered her getting dogpiled by people who didn't exactly know who she was, they just assumed "another feminist wants to censor our games" and they were really spiteful to her. The people who are being associated with "the right" are people like MangaLawyer, Grummz, SmashJT, TheBugleDaily and others who simply hold a no compromises position when it comes to fictional content. But she was attacked by politically unaffiliated gamers, not the individuals I mentioned, I only mentioned them to give you a general idea of the sentiments that were echoed by the people who dogpiled her.

it’s actually fucking sick how the right went from “stop putting leftist propaganda in video games,” which is completely valid and something i still stand by, and now they’re verbally abusing and harassing women for calling out unnecessary perverted demands in character designs that were never scantily clad to begin with. we went from “beautiful women are people too,” to body shaming skinny women, small breasts, and making nonsensical pornographic demands that have nothing to do with being attractive or politics.

@Providence_777 @jaderants Yeah, people dont want political or any moralizing in their escapism, one way or the other. Thus why Walsh gets the heat he does when he does it. But that is not what is getting claimed here.

You'll find Matt Walsh is subjected to similar attacks on these same subjects (his takes on Anime and video games for example). If you dig into the history of how "the right" is more of a coalition formed from completely different groups, it will make more sense. 80% of the people who are called "right wing" (especially in entertainment spaces) were literally politically unaffiliated/liberals who didn't subscribe to any moral code besides "live and let live", who had their hobbies attacked and destroyed, and were called nazis for complaining about it. These people do not actually adhere to any Christian theology or conservative ideology, they're literally liberals who are simply retaliating against the woke who decided to dictate limits on what they should be allowed to play. They're not "right wing" in a literal sense, they're only "right wing" in the eyes of the left by virtue of them not adhering to woke dogma, not participating in pushing woke orthodoxy. "right wing" isn't their actual political identity, that's simply what the left been accused them of being in order to smear them for not pledging allegiance to the left's death cult. Those are the people who are viciously attacking anyone who suggest any limits or curtailing content, they're making unreasonable demands for the express purpose of making the hobby unappealing to the very people who took it over. So it shouldn't be surprising that their values don't seem to align with actual right wing conservatism. Because that's not who these people are, they're only tangentially supporting the "right" in a loose alliance to destroy the woke left. They're not going to share the same morals as the right, they're only hitching a ride until they can hop off the train and be left alone to enjoy their hobbies again on their terms, without any one else's moral edicts being imposed on them from any side of the political spectrum.

Ok, anyone right of AOC is right wing in that framework, I understand that part and agree. Still, with that said, where and who is saying what was claimed? Even searching for it, all I find is people complaining about these claims, but I cant find anyone of predominance, (streamer, influencer or anyone really) making the claims that's being said. Am at the point now I am asking for people to please show me, or point me to the posts everyone is complaining about. Specificity where they are these people making these demands? Who is body shaming game characters for being skinny? Or having small breast? Who is making these pornographic demands to the point the Right is "fucking sick"? Who is abusing are verbally harassing women because they point it out? I see the claims and bunch of "yeah porn addicts" "incel" they only want oily onlyfan models" Trying to put a face, or movement to this strawman is all.

It's a bit more complicated than that, most of the people doing this aren't actually "right wing" in the traditional sense. They're simply "anti-left" so far as it's part of an effort to remove all political moralizing over entertainment media. If you do think that geo blocking is a good feature, can you explain why exactly? Are you afraid of different opinions? I tend to learn the most when I debate or listen to people from all over the world. It is cool to compare my experiences with people from somewhere else. If we are talking about politics, no system is perfect (not even yours Americans). It is good to understand mistakes from other countries so that you can prevent making the same ones.

Akira, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell were pretty popular and easliy available. You started seeing anime pop up in rental places and bootleg stuf like hentai movie and stuff were circulating around. I personally watched Perfect Blue from a bootleg VHS I bought off a dude. Keep in mind Princess Monoke, Neon Genesis and Pokemon were all blowing up.

Apparently I'm the only who had a different experience bc 30 years ago nearly every Black male my age liked X-Men, Batman, Spiderman, watched DBZ on Toonami and played Mortal Kombat 20 years ago it was Halo, Madden, still DBZ, Naruto, Bleach and other Adult Swim animes
