CEO of Medicare24 is scheduled to appear before the Madlanga Commisison tomorrow. Sources indicate that Mike van Wyk, has filed an application seeking a postponement. @Abramjee Come on guys, every foreign spaza shop have those medications, I see them everyday. Is the something wrong for selling medications, especially those flu ones? I'm surprised that's why I'm asking just need clarity so that I can follow-up on this?

A 22-year-old undocumented foreign national was arrested in Vrygrond, Muizenberg, Cape Town, during an Operation Prosper patrol. Police acted on information about the illegal sale of medication at a shop in Berg Street and discovered various medicines on display, including expired stock dating back to 2025. The medication was confiscated and handed over to SAPS as evidence. Further checks revealed that the suspect was unlawfully in South Africa. He faces charges under the Medicines and Related Substances Act and immigration laws and is expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court.

The number of illegal Malawians in KZN says a lot to us. What about Malawians in other provinces and Lindela Repatriation Camp? Other illegal foreign nationals seem less concerned. It’s like they were told that no one will do them anything including sending them back home.

In KZN many trucking companies have fired immigrants due to March and March pressure. They are now hiring strictly South Africans, this was in Springfield Durban during the testing of some the South African drivers.
