@Moses0507 @Feinsand True, but no guarantees on TJ pitchers, especially their first year back
English

And for those chirping "What a shock Feinsand picked the Yankees" at me, I don't believe I have picked them to win the World Series since 2021. My last three picks have been the Phillies, Orioles and Padres... and we know how well those worked out! #YouCantPredictBaseball

@JakeBrownLive The people of queens would probably prefer that so their commute isnt packed with fans

Guys bad wording here…what I am saying is on game days MTA should make 2 trains an hour leading up to game that go direct Manhattan to Citi Field.
Times Square, Queensboro Plaza, Citi Field
Grand Central, Queensboro Plaza, Citi Field
Hudson Yards, Times Square, Queensboro Plaza, Citi Field
With all construction…trains gonna need to be taken & many get way too congested that 2 times an hour on day of games these would be less mayhem. Say like 10:30/11/11:30/12/12:30 for 1pm game. 4:30/5/5:30/6/6:30 for 7pm game.
English

What they should do is do a 7 train that skips all the other stops and goes from Hudson Yards right to Citi Field.

The New York Transit Museum will run a Redbird 7 Line train from 34th Street-Hudson Yards to Mets-Willets Point, Thursday at 11 a.m. to celebrate Opening Day. These vintage cars ran from 1959 through the early 2000s.

English

@dafloridabear @FadeAwayMedia Its not a genocide lmao. White people are fucking other races
English

@Moses0507 @FadeAwayMedia Who gives a fuck that one race is being systematically genocided over the past 70 years… you’re the definition of white suicidal empathy
English

@dafloridabear @FadeAwayMedia Who gives a flying fuck. Ur a white supremacist. Grow up
English

I’m racist because I don’t support systematic genocide… in 1939 the worlds white population was 35% its 8% today. Every white country is being flooded with 3rd world immigrants by their governments. Thats a stone cold fact. Countries like Poland and Hungary who refuse pay the EU 22k$ a day! If this was another race there would be mass protests but whites have been indoctrinated to not be oppressive that they’re privileged. Wake up

@VigilantFox Minnesota is overrun with fraud laying a heavy burden on the shoulders of (working) Minnesotans. I’d check the locks again, Jesse.

Former wrestler and Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura teases a new “plan” to go “face to face” with Trump in Washington.
You’ll have to listen closely. He doesn’t want to “spill” what he’s planning.
PIERS MORGAN: “Do you intend to run again… maybe president?”
VENTURA: “I don’t necessarily intend to run… but I’m working on something that could send me straight to Washington and go face to face with this guy.”
MORGAN: “Really?!”
VENTURA: “Plans may be in the works.”
MORGAN: “So what would that involve?”
VENTURA: “Well, you’ll have to find out… I’ll put it to you this way.”
“I was taught in war to do this: you ensure that your backyard is secure.”
“Well, Minnesota’s now secure. We’ve repelled the onslaught from Trump. Now it’s time for us to go on the offense.”
“So maybe it’s time to send the Navy SEAL to Washington. Maybe it’s time for a showdown between the Vietnam veteran and the draft dodger.”

@Moses0507 @FadeAwayMedia No he’s a spoiled cunt that helped ruin America fuck him

The funny thing about people telling me that the green seats are “a homage to the Polo Grounds,” which is what former Mets VP Dave Howard told WFAN, must have missed the interview that he later gave to ESPN, where he said the green seats were a color choice, so “the palate of the field would extend to the stands.”
Almost every single interview after Citi Field opened was a defensive talking point.
Fred Wilpon could not believe how many #Mets fans reacted negatively to the Jackie Robinson rotunda or the lack of Mets identity. He was furious, in fact.
Fred was so focused on recreating Ebbets Field, he didn’t realize that Mets fans like me, who were born more than a decade after the Dodgers and Giants left, didn’t care about how the marble in the rotunda was the same.
If you know me, and know my work, you also know I don’t need a history lesson about NY baseball.
But I care more about Mets history, and the Jackie Robinson rotunda was not what we wanted or what we deserved.
It could have been the Gil Hodges rotunda, the real Brooklyn / Mets connection.
It could have been the Tom Seaver rotunda, but Fred & Jeff did not care for the man literally called “The Franchise”
Instead, Bud Selig and Fred Wilpon decided that the Mets should be the team to honor Jackie, who never wore the jersey, never played in Queens and who already had a statue outside of the Brooklyn Cyclones ballpark in Coney Island. Which literally has a Brooklyn Baseball museum, by the way.
That’s where the “42” should be, that’s where the tribute to Jackie should be. Not with a team whose only connection to Jackie Robinson was that the owner was a fan when he was a kid.
I would have even been fine with a rotunda dedicated to former Giants/Dodgers who had Mets connections like Willie Mays, Duke Snider, etc.
Of course, it will never be removed, replaced or relocated in my lifetime.
The same media who mocked Mets fans for daring to criticize the Jackie Robinson rotunda would surely demonize Steve Cohen if he ever dared to relocate it to another part of the ballpark.
So I will just lament what could have been, what should have been, and politely smile as people try to give me baseball history lessons.
I will say it again for all of those who missed it the first time; Citi Field is a beautiful ballpark. I love going there, and the fans are wonderful.
But it will never feel like home for me.
From Grant’s tomb to Baseball like it oughta be, and Jose, Jose, Jose to Shea Goodbye, Shea Stadium was where I grew up.
I’m glad so many of you love Citi Field, enjoy it. It’s an incredible ballpark.
I just feel when I’m there, I’m just visiting.
