Hytale foundation work is going really well, and we're shipping updates at a high rate! Early access is exactly the kind of development I enjoy: move fast, break things, iterate. This is way more fun than I expected! Needless to say, it was a very good investment to save Hytale. FYI, we've got a hiring push coming after the contest wraps up, and you can expect updates to come even faster in the months ahead. The team will be about 100 members, with very few management/producer roles. Organized chaos. Once the foundation is further along, we'll be moving into dungeons, boss fights, progression, and a ton of exciting content. We have a ton of surprises in the works that have never been done in any sandbox/survival games! Hard engineering challenges ahead ;)

What small features or quality-of-life improvements would you like us to add to Hytale in the short term? I already have a massive list from the in-game feedback button, Discord, Reddit, YouTube, and other social platforms, so we are not running out of things to do! @Simon_Hypixel @h1eld It still stutters a lot in world gen v1 when the chunks are loaded. 🥲 That's the only time it stutters for me. And my pc is at the low end. Great job with optimization. I hope you guys improve it further.

@h1eld These are world gen v2, we got to improve the way they send chunks to the client in the coming months. Already made massive improvements past few weeks on it, should have great performances when we are getting closer to full release

If you fall from high enough (starts at 8 blocks), press the Crouch keybind (no need to sprint) to roll to negate part of your fall damage! It negates all if it's a small fall, otherwise we reduce by a certain % based on the fall distance.

Did you know sliding during a fall NEGATES fall damage? So long as you are sprinting, hitting your crouch key at the END of your fall will make you do a neat little combat roll, giving you a speed boost also! THIS IS SO COOL #Hytale

I don’t know about anyone else, but for a fantasy-themed game like Hytale, I’d love to see automation lean more into magic rather than lots of physical machinery. Physical systems tend to get complicated really fast, while a magic-based approach feels way more fitting and unique. I saw @devherond’s mana logic idea in the replies and instantly liked this direction a lot more. (Going to be following this mod now!) I don't know just my opinion but I am sure the team will come up with something fun and unique!

The design challenge is to make it feel like a natural extension of the game, fully optional, easy to engage with at a small scale, yet capable of deep complexity and automation for players who want to go further! Tag a dev or modder who builds this kind of stuff. I’ll be scouting in the coming weeks, and roles will be open to apply for if needed by then!

@Simon_Hypixel @LittleMoonBoy1 We must be able to build actual computers and CPUs inside of Hytale. Transistors must be a thing somehow. It should be easy to integrate into this system once you figure out the basic building blocks.

@DevSlashNulled @SpaceAgeTRex @Simon_Hypixel Please help. I have the game installed on Linux but the launcher isn't detecting any version and it prompts me to install the game again. My internet speed is so slow and this would take a long time.
