For somebody working on the gut #microbiome, the responses ("gross", "embarrassment", "pseudoscience", etc.) to this @Nature article on the treatment of C-section babies with their mother’s poo are quite sobering. So, I thought I would provide a perspective in the thread below.

Feeding a baby born by caesarean section milk containing a tiny bit of their mother’s poo introduces beneficial microbes to their gut go.nature.com/48oD7hK

Here's my message to young people: you wouldn't let a bunch of old people decide what music you're going to listen to or what clothes you're going to wear – so don't let them decide your future. Make a plan to vote today: IWillVote.com/Obama

@Symbionticism @Erika__Ganda It's always delicate to ask people, Seth. Some folks love the idea, others do not. So I just ask and see who responds. I will write to Dr. Ganda.

Hate to bother people, but any thoughts about great people to invite to my podcast to discuss antimicrobial resistance and the challenges of same? I KNOW many people are busy. Just asking.

There is a major lack of microbial/music parody stickers. Thankfully I'm here to change that! pinkpetri.etsy.com
