It is pretty astounding to me that gusto just takes the whole weekend off. For something as important as payroll, you should be able to get in touch with someone on the weekend.

@SageCanaday Health insurance is a big concern for many small business owners. However, it becomes much more affordable if you can run the cost of these expenses through your business.

Yes being a self employed small business owner in the US has really made health insurance a huge cost financially for me (not to mention getting denied coverage and different treatments depending on procedures/hospitals)….it really sucks when you have an accident or major health complication

@Lukealexxander I wouldn’t roll the dice and skip Insurance. As a self employed person, if set up the right way, you can also write the insurance off on your taxes too.

@gas_biz Seeing a seller’s tax return is a good idea for most buyers though. A seller is more likely to overstate income to a potential buyer than they would to the IRS.

Nevada, nearly the lowest tax burden in the country. We pay no State income tax and very reasonable property tax rates. Big shout out to all of the degenerate gamblers out there for making this possible.
