I knew Haley when she was in her 20s. She never thought of running for office - ever. Then many years later, Trump was elected and she decided to run for office in the place she was born. Because she wanted to do what she could to fight back. And she turned a red district blue.

The wave of redistricting is going to destroy the machine Black Democrats down South, which is extremely bad news for Harris as they’re her primary assets in 2028. Democrats are gonna also break up Black districts up North for a more partisan makeup. The infighting resulting from this will be intense. Black Democrats are primarily driven by self-interest, not partisan gains. Them feasting under Democrats is why they vote 90%. If such is reduced, they’ll be turning out less.
