Anti refugee sentiment? Look we’re doing something! Meanwhile, some schools that were closed last month have quietly reopened. It’s sadly now becoming a game with real consequences for many vulnerable communities.

These schools take the burden off the overcrowded & underfunded public schools (for those communities who can register). Registration is an indefinite limbo of paperwork (sometimes for over 10 years) so schools never have the power. However closing them is a new political move.

When asked if Canada has been sending arms to Israel, @melaniejoly outrageously claimed that "there [have] been no weapons sent under my watch," and suggested that Canada is exporting only "non-lethal" military goods like night vision goggles and protective gear. In reality, Canada exported over $49M in military goods to Israel in the first two years that Joly became Foreign Affairs Minister, and she continues to approve arms exports despite the risk of genocide. The top categories of exports include 1) bombs, torpedoes, rockets, missiles, other explosive devices (and related components); 2) military aircraft and/or related components, and 3) military spacecraft and/or related components. If Canada is exporting weapons components to be integrated into a larger warplane, tank, or missile, that is no less "lethal"! Instead of defending its policy decisions, this government is misleading Canadians into thinking that we aren't exporting weapons. This is false. We demand that Joly impose an arms embargo now, so that Canada is no longer complicit in Israel's genocide. #ArmsEmbargoIsrael #StopArmingIsrael #GazaGenocide

Make no mistake. The goal was never to eradicate Hamas: It's to permanently expel as many Palestinians from #Gaza and West Bank. IDF is heading for Rafah next and Netanyahu already affirmed he will discontinue UNRWA. This about erasing -- not solving -- the Palestinian question.
