Sometimes on the Isle of May the wildlife comes to us…I caught this Puffin yesterday in one of our buildings and released unharmed :) stunning but powerful wee birds.

Happy Friday! How cute is this little Honey Bee, found in my garden yesterday! You can see from her pollen baskets she’s been a busy bee, taking a well-earned rest on my curry plant 🐝💛

The alignment of the former Moffat branch through the town's Station Park and at the River Annan, which it used to cross.

Poor shot but gives an idea of where the station at Moffat was, fenced off ground in the middle distance and line platform would have followed along the edge to right next to the filling station. The wooden platform building is in the distance and recent Co-op store behind it.

The only surviving building on the station site at Moffat.
