The Minneapolis City Council just devolved into chaos after a disagreement over 2 resolutions urging normalization of relations with Cuba and divestment of European financial institutions from companies that enable ICE and DHS, with council members LaTrisha Vetaw and Aurin Chowdhury getting into a tiff on the dais and Vetaw telling Council President Elliott Payne he doesn't know how to run a meeting, leading to a 5-minute recess. Chowdhury said she doesn't like coming to work to get bullied.

Today we filed a lawsuit in federal court in Washington DC to get access to evidence being hidden by the federal government in the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, and the shooting of Julio Sosa-Celis. The lawsuit follows the DOJ’s refusal to respond to our Touhy demands.
