@MrBakerMaths @MrMattock Definitely looking for this also! Our students historically do worse in stats than mechanics as we are an engineering/stem college so students do much better in mechanics naturally. Want to think of strategies for improving stats this year.

@MrBakerMaths Our stats for the 1st time was our lowest percentage scored for a unit this year. Historically our pupils have struggled with mechanics but put upped their percentage by 20%. We’re going to working on stats this year and happy to collab with other schools wanting to do the same

@mrsouthernmaths Would that be a 14% difference in raw mark? Ours has ended up being an average of around 29% difference in marks, so I'm keen to hear from departments with a much smaller gap

@MrBakerMaths Performance on the Edexcel Stats paper was quite a bit lower than the Mechanics paper nationally this year. Average score was 14 percentage points lower if I remember correctly.
