Texas Rangers at the Houston Astros Rangers only struck out last night 6 times and walked 4 times. Last night's game was not as bad as it looked and if the Rangers win the series, that game means zero. And I have to give Jack Leiter his due, pitched a great game. His one mistake wouldn't even have been a mistake in most ball parks. Jacob deGrom vs Kai -Wei Teng Brandon Nimmio is the only Ranger that has faced Teng. In two starts this season, teams are hitting .385 off of Teng. Teng has been forced into a starter's role due to rash of injuries that the Astros have suffered. The last time deGrom faced the Astros in Houston was 09/17/25, in 5 innings he gave up 5 earned runs on 6 hits. Lifetime he is 1-2 with a 3.70 ERA in 4 starts vs Houston. #AllForTX
