I’m curious about how your school uses Microsoft Teams, especially when it comes to staff bulletins and notices. If it’s being used for that purpose, I’d love to hear how it works for everyone. It’s always helpful to learn from others’ experiences! #teams #technology #edu

This is so important, I’m retweeting it twice. Engagement and learning are not the same thing. Some of the most engaging lessons are the least educational. Don’t confuse the two things!

@heymrshallahan @TeacherTapp Be interesting to know the impact on outcomes from doing these sessions.

Interesting to see just over a quarter of you saying on @teachertapp you’re not running boosters.
Those of you running them - what is attendance like? And is engagement positive?

Tomorrow the government will publish guidance on mobile phones in schools.
Headteachers will be advised to set out if they allow pupils to access phones in the school day and to have measures to mitigate the risks of #MobilePhonesInSchools @educationgovuk #edutwitter

@Mouhssin_Ismail This is from the EEF, I’m not sure on validity of the research etc but just thought be worth putting here.
TLDR; high attainment get higher, lower attainment gets lower.

@IAmJessPlant @naomicfisher But we are the adults…the reason we can make the decision or realise that it will have an impact if we are late is because we learnt that when we were at school and held to account for our organisational skills. There are different expectations on children vs. Adults in society.
English

@naomicfisher This is something that always gets me: the double standard that we have for our children vs. the standard that we have for ourselves as adults.

@edu_blocks We are an office 365 school, would we need to pay for the single sign on?
English

@MrCDonaldson1 Yes! The work definitely doesn't stop here :)
Not currently, unless you have Google/Microsoft accounts. I'll relay this suggestion to our Auth team to see if it's something we could implement.

@advanced_ict Still no more, looked at trinket but no ‘no email sign up’ option. Reluctant to rely on another online system!

Dear @Replit,
How am I going to use your website with my 100+ students? How am I going to divide them into teams to collaborate with me & check the progress of their work?
The whole point of Replit is that it allows me to collaborate with my students!
