What a fantastic two weeks based around books. Thank you to @wallingfordbook for providing all the @WorldBookDayUK books so that every single child had a book to take home. We also had @RovingBookshop in and this year sold over £3000 worth of books in one day!

@jw_teach Would be interested in the replies to this. We are just starting to discuss how a behaviour curriculum needs to be crafted. If you subscribe to @TheKeySL they have a good breakdown on a behaviour curriculum and the DfE expectations.

Can anyone help me this question I’m working on - “What is a behaviour curriculum and what does it look like at your school?”

@secretHT1 We’ve started using something called Boom Reader - online reading journal. Fairly happy so far in the two weeks we’ve been using it.

@MissC_1717 @MrJenningsA We’ve structured different parts of learning around the quality of these resources. Spag starters for English lessons, tough ten for straight after lunch, quick comprehensions for fluency and longer comprehensions during WCGR sessions. VN is an integral part of my working week.

Quite a specific request here... Can anyone think of any books (picturebooks, novels or poetry) suitable for primary, which feature parents who are preoccupied with something, such as their phones, and don't give their children much attention? All suggestions appreciated.

@mr_alfredb @VocabularyNinja Tough Ten worked brilliantly for us. We put both Year 5 and Year 6 to allow them to work at the level they were comfortable with / give them extra challenge. We followed it up with daily times table practice from @TTRockStars

@Burglar_Betty @MrWithersAHT @WhiteRoseMaths We used the work books during lockdown but have reverted back to the worksheets for everyone in Y2 upwards. In UKS2, we print the sheets A5 and use the space underneath them to show calculations / have space for longer explanations. It's working well for us.

@MrWithersAHT We use @WhiteRoseMaths and am desperate to hear from any schools who have bought the workbooks and can say how they use them alongside a Maths exercise book. We think using the workbooks will reduce photocopying. Anybody who can help please?

@PrimaryRocks1 2 week window to moderate - Week 1 teachers upload a portfolio of work for staff to go through using assessment sheets. Week 2 phase meeting where we discuss the assessment targets that people disagree on.

@PrimaryRocks1 We use writing expectation sheets for each longer assessed piece. Statements highlighted if children have met, one in yellow as a target. New sheet for each assessed writing for easier reference. New whole school style of moderation using google classroom which really worked.
