Takeaways from Dana White’s letter in support of a common sense fix to gambling tax law: - Dana White is a close friend of President Trump and is one of the biggest whales in the gambling space. It’s good (and unsurprising) to have him on our side and supporting a common sense fix - This letter notes that Dana has discussed this issue with Trump in the past, which is interesting since Trump is yet to directly mention this issue even during his recent casino visits. I wouldn’t expect a massive impact due to this letter, especially given Congressional dysfunction and it being an election year (makes it tougher to get stuff done). Trump cannot fix this issue single handedly, Congress will have to be on board for any fix to get passed - That being said, it’s good this issue is getting some publicity again. Congressional Republicans are working on a pair of party line reconciliation bills right now, which could possibly be vehicles for a fix and any momentum on this front over the next month is helpful - Dana White left out of the letter the impact he personally faces from this law, which will be massive. He is one of the biggest whales in the gambling space, only 3 casinos in Vegas let him bet around the size he wants despite being a losing bettor, according to an article last fall 🎥 @60Minutes

Got pulled over by a cop on horseback this morning. Sitting at a red light, heard a knock on my window, look left and there's just a horse there. Had to look up to find the actual cop.
