Tesla has integrated Unreal Engine into its vehicle software for rendering 3D car models. When zoomed in, it literally looks like a video game. The detail is incredible.

This has to be one of the most useful features of any modern car. A 💯 must have. Quality of cameras in G9 are insane and the way they managed to move image and make a precise transparency effect is absolute gold. It helps to navigate tiny spaces and lines with precision 🔥

@YTJustGetATesla A Tesla even without autosteer still has a huge amount of more features than a Toyota

I don’t get it. Tesla have now crippled their new car offer in the Netherlands. They now only come with cruise control, not autosteer / autopilot. You have to pay €99 a month for FSD or your fancy Dan Tesla has less features than a cheap Toyota.

Some owners now have European semi trucks displayed in their Tesla’s Autopilot/FSD visualization with the 2026 Spring Update (2026.14+). Many other 3D assets were spotted in the code back in November and are expected to be added as well. (Full list of upcoming vehicle types is in the comments section)

This is the new visualisation for Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper in the Tesla spring update (2026.14.1)- but that’s not the important part. The important part is HOW - this is rollout of Unreal Engine to these cars & their interfaces. Lots of important but only semi-visible (ironically) without knowing the details - and now you do!

@chandanchoubey1 @teslaeurope WS will view the approval of FSD in the Netherlands as a non-event. One it was expected. Two, it’s supervised FSD, not unsupervised FSD. Three, until TSLA commits to advertising FSD’s benefits to the masses, FSD’s take rate will be low.
