🤐I've been putting this off for a while.
Not because I didn't have anything to say but because I've watched too many people open their mouth in this space before they earned the right to.
My name is Stan. 5+ years in web3. Started the same way most of you did — me and a group of friends, genuinely curious, convinced we were watching the future of finance get built in real time. No agenda. Just curiosity and too many late nights reading whitepapers.
That curiosity turned into a career.
I've been CMO on web3 projects. Led teams through token launches — some that worked, some that didn't. I've seen what happens when the marketing is right and the product falls apart. I've seen what happens when the product is brilliant and nobody knows it exists. I've sat in the room when things go wrong and watched how people respond to that.
That's the part they don't teach you.
Here's what I also know: web3 has a serious problem. And it's not regulation, it's not bear markets, it's not even the scams — though god knows there are enough of those.
It's that everyone is trying to extract value from each other instead of building something together. Nobody wants to admit how dependent they actually are on the person next to them. Your stop loss, someone else's wallet mistake, a founder who disappears — these aren't isolated events. That's vassalage dressed up as decentralization.
I'm a marketolog - yes that's a real word, look it up. I spend 15 hours a day in front of a screen and I still think this space is worth fighting for.
So I'm going to start talking. About what I know. About what I've seen. For people who actually care.
No alpha calls. No shilling. No "not financial advice 👀"
Just someone who's been here long enough to have opinions.
Cheers
