Three months ago my boss started acting strange around me, less eye contact and short replies.Meetings without inviting me. I thought I was about to get fired. So I did something crazy. A friend inside HR told me quietly: “Management is interviewing people to replace someone on your team.” They didn’t say who but my gut told me it was me. Instead of panicking… I created a new email address. New cv, different phone number and applied for the job, yes the job I already had.
