academic promotions are always a collective effort and i am so thankful to all those who have supported me in my promotion to Reader in Critical Applied Linguistics. 🎉 now it's my turn to do more to support early career researchers and push the discipline in new directions 🌸🫶

Teaching the same lesson to 30 students with different needs would be similar to a doctor trying to help 30 patients with different needs at the same time with the same treatment.
We need more adults, and we need more planning time to do what is needed in classrooms.
🌟 Kick off the school year with engaging check-ins! Break the ice, connect with your students, and help them bond with each other. Let’s make this back-to-school season unforgettable! 🏫🤝
