It's weird to:
- Refuse "free" food at work
- Eat a big bowl of strawberries with Greek Yogurt for breakfast
- Say No to alcohol when everyone around you is drinking
- Lift weights or go for runs during holidays or while traveling
- Use an app to track your calories and macros
- Measure your weight every morning
- Spend extra time reading nutrition labels at the grocery store
- Choose to walk or bike instead of driving short distances
- Skip dessert because you've already hit your calorie goal for the day
It's normal to:
- Binge eat and drink every weekend
- Reward yourself with junk food after a stressful day
- Have 60% of the diet be ultra-processed junk food
- Walk less than 3000 steps per day
- Feel tired all the time but blame it on "getting old"
- Require high doses of caffeine to function
- Go months or years without stepping on a scale despite obvious weight gain
- Overeat every weekend and "start over" on Monday
- Blame genetics while ignoring habits
It's okay to be weird.
You'll never get everyone to agree anyway.
And what's weird for one person is completely normal for another.
The best thing about life is that you don't need to be the person you were yesterday.
You get to reinvent yourself. Pick a new set of values and start acting like who you want to be, not who you were.
Plus, there are plenty of us weirdoes out there.
