@ukhomeoffice Oh fuck off! They should not be here. Drop them off at France where they came from and stop all benefits for illegal landings.

What happened to all the Tesla killers that legacy press and hedge fund short sellers predicted were coming? 🤔
Captain Eli@TheCaptainEli
Tesla alone sold 117,300 EVs in the US — more than ALL other EV makers combined (99,099). GM + Hyundai + Toyota + Rivian + Ford + Lucid + BMW + VW + everyone else… still couldn’t beat Tesla’s single-quarter numbers. Tesla outsold the entire rest of the industry by over 18,000 vehicles.

@DesmondSwayne How about we cull expenses and make pay rises means tested based of quality of service and delivery of manifestos …. That should save some dosh

If, like me, you were born in 1956, you’ll receive almost £300,000 more in benefits than you’ll pay in taxes in your lifetime
State Pensions make up a huge chunk of that
Long term, we simply can’t afford to sustain the Triple Lock’s generosity

@judeinlondon Wow! You are showing some serious narcissistic tendencies there. I don't hate you, I don't know you and hating someone who means nothing is a massive waste of energy. But I can comment on your posts in a public forum - which I did 🤷♂️

@UziCryptoo Society and government killed off the idea of family. It’s been replaced by self-centredness, vanity and an obsession with stuff. So sad

Friend of mine is 35 years old, married and doesn’t want kids.
His household income is roughly $300k/yearly and his house is nearly paid off.
They invest a good portion of their income for retirement, take multiple yearly vacations and live a nice life.
I think people like this are going to regret not having kids in their future.
One day when he’s old all he will have to look back on is the random stuff he bought and wasted money on.
Instead of putting that money towards having kids and building a family he’s choosing consumerism.
This just seems so wasteful and boring to me.
English

@judeinlondon Why would you not want to own your piece of land. Why would you be at the mercy of a government that doesn’t give a shit about you and where you live - ridiculous notion!

I think private rents should be capped at social housing rates.
£160 - 1 bed
£240 - 2 bed
£300 - 3 bed
£400 - 4 bed
£500 - 5 bed
Doing this would save billions in housing benefit, disincentivise B2L properties, freeing up homes for 1st time buyers and adjust the market
Mr Spontaneous With The Vibes@real_amos
Do you think these are good rates? Minimum wage doesn’t even cover the monthly payment
English

@LucidSoftware any chance the frame titles can scale with the view percentage - currently they are pretty pointless

English

@TheRealJamieKay Absolute nonsense!
The NHS is failing miserably at every turn
Chicken and kebab takeaways - yep world class
Aaah yes, and those famous Arab chart topping bands catwalk fashion houses. And the less said about the 'culture' the better.
English

@Savsays @SaraGonzalesTX I say the same to you that I say to leftists. Why were you there? None of this would have happened to you if you weren’t kicking a hornet’s nest.

Your mortgage is more expensive today than it was three years ago.
Your energy bill is higher.
Your council tax is higher
.
Your food shop is higher.
Your National Insurance is higher.
In the same period your MP got a pay rise.
That is not a cost of living crisis.
That is a transfer of wealth from the people who create it to the people who manage it.
English

@MetamateDaz Most boomers did not retire at 55 with a full pension. Absolute horse shit 💩
Man you are a whiney pathetic little cretin 🤣
English

@jonbrooks Stop f**king whining and blaming what was. We are where we are. If people want o complain direct it at the sources of this ridiculous rise, not generations gone by, they were just living.
English

@planert41 You 💯 need some make some time for yourself. The mother and father should support each other to make this happen. Also, You have to realise it’s not about you anymore. The time you have with your kids shouldn’t feel like work. They grow up fast, enjoy it as much as you can.

Dads with young kids
Is it normal to just feel tired and burnt out all the time?
It’s like you don’t even really get the weekend to recover because it’s all just kid stuff the moment you wake up
Arguably the only personal time you have is when they nap (and you’re already dead tired by that time) or the hour after they go to bed but before you pass out
Just trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong
